The traveler

Galungan. It's a pretty familiar thing for Hindus since it's the feast to honor the creator of the universe and all gods and goddess. It lasted for 10 days and the last day of festival is called 'Kuningan'. Galungan celebrates the victory of Virtue (Dharma) upon Evil (Adharma). Everyone is busy preparing Galungan even a day before. THat's when Bali seems to be very very busy. You can see 'Penjor' (A tall woven bamboo with fruits, coconut leaves, and flower in the front of each house. That's cool) almost everywhere. Everyone wore their best clothes and jewels for Galungan festival. And before i forgot, this year, Galungan was celebrated at October 14th. So, it's the second day of the festival!!! 


I can say that this is one of many greatest time to visit Bali. You know, visiting Bali when it is celebrating a festival is not something you can find anywhere. Here, you can see a lot of things. Bali is a place where the tradition, the religion, and the international world met. Bali got pretty handful of festival. Just like another place. And not to forget the beautiful scenery of Bali. You can find almost everything in Bali. Are you a party-person? We got dozen of bars just by the shore. You're looking for romantic moments? Bali is the right place! Even Julia Robert is coming here for the film ' Eat Love and Pray' This October. You're a fans of water sport? There you go. Kuta got a perfect waves to surf!!! A shoppaholic? Indonesia has beautiful Batik with beautiful design and countless souvenirs. a culinary fans? You can find any kind of food here. You don't even have to worry about language barrier. Most of Balinesse speaks English!!! Wow. They even speaks better than i do. I'm Indonesian and I'm proud to have Bali. Sadly, I stayed at Bali for only 3 days and now it's time to go home.
